BT Voices for Hospices 14 October 2000

'A Last Night at the Proms' style event which featured the Choir, soprano Jose Paine, contralto Jean Vidamour, our special guests the Guernsey Concert Band conducted by Simon Applegate and a return visit by London based organist Robin Litler ATCL.

The programme of musical favourites included popular greats - Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and many more. A flag-waving, all-singing event for the audience to participate in.

This British Telecoms sponsored event with hundreds of other choirs, orchestras and groups is a global musical event covering more than fifty countries all in aid of local hospices. Funds raised totalling £5,000 have been donated to Les Bourgs Hospice.
