Here is our busy programme of events for 2007 - the choir celebrates its 22nd Anniversary! Most of our concerts feature professional guest artistes from the UK (mainly England and Wales) together with the Choir's soloists Jo Paine, Jean Vidamour and Ruth Smale. The Friendship Company of juniors and teenagers often feature in our concerts. The 'Sing for Sark' will feature in Sark once again in June and at other events as requested. The first major event this year will be the Good Friday concert on 6th April at St James. The evening will offer a profound and moving portrayal of the events of those biblical times from Palm Sunday through to the crucifixion of Christ with Special guest George Foote. We will also be appearing at Guernsey's brand new Performing Arts Theatre next to Lez Ozouets School where we will be able to experience first hand the ambiance. technology and atmosphere of this new theatre. Join us free of charge with the Youth Group The Friendship Co also performing. Next will be our anniversary Liberation Day celebration concert on 9th May at St James. Fervent singing by audience and choir happily dressed in red, white and blue, celebrating in a Praise 'n Proms night. It's a night to get tickets for...soon, Very soon! This will take us up to our two holiday-maker concerts on 3rd June and 25th June both at St James. The June 3rd concert brings a choral end to the Guernsey Floral Week. An annual event of the Choir is informal carol singing in the town of St Peter Port in December. However to round off the year, most popular of all will be the 'Family Carols Festival' - carols, bells, party hats and seasonal music for everyone at St James with a special performance from the Childrens' choir Friendship Company. The Christmas Carol Festival concerts will be on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th December 2007 Calendar for 2007
