The Island Churches Guernsey Festival Choruswith guest Christian artiste and blind pianistPeter JacksonNarrator and self-accompanist on the Steinway Grand at St James Concert Hall, 18th April 2003 at 7.45pm Conductor - Roy SarreAccompanist - Roger Brooks Music depicting the palm waving 'Hosannas' and the horrific 'Crucify' Music for a Good Friday at St James with the remarkable guest performer, Christian blind pianist Peter Jackson from Wales. The evening offers a profound and moving portrayal of the events of those biblical times from Palm Sunday through to the crucifixion of Christ. Peter Jackson will be the narrator and self-accompanist for the evening. Tickets £6 --BOOK NOW-- Tel: Maddie on 263930 (all times) or Angela at St James on 711361 (mornings) Previous Good Friday performances by the choir brought tears of emotion to many in the audience, particularly Peter Jackson's moving portrayal as disciple St Peter during the journey of events in Christ's life from Palm Sunday to Good Friday. 'It was an absolutely wonderful occasion and enabled everyone present to identify the weakness of humanity. It was a most moving narration' said musical director Roy Sarre.
