Summer Concert

The Island Churches Guernsey Festival Chorus

trophy winner in the Eisteddfod 2001

Sunday 1st July at St James 8.15pm

A concert of expressive music which brought together the gifts of two blind artistes together for the first time 

Special Guest Artistes

Marilyn Baker 

composer, self accompanist, vocals, piano, keyboard & oboe

Peter Jackson

composer, self accompanist, narrator & humourist

Both deeply committed Christian artistes, widely traveled proclaiming the Gospel in music. 

They were on stage together for the first time since meeting at the Torch Trust School for the Blind

This concert brought together a visitor and local audience who enjoyed the involvement of Christian artistes offering their talents in praise to God
