Pam Rhodes

Pam Rhodes is a renowned BBC television personality and in particular for her 'Songs of Praise' presentations

Roger Royle

Roger is a famous BBC Radio and TV presenter of mainly religious programmes

Simeon Wood

A very popular and skillful player of flute, pan pipes and Celtic whistles. A sensitive accompanist for narrations and a competent solo performer.

Jeffrey and Rachel Howard

Jeffrey and Rachel Howard have become recent friends of the Choir through our contact Anne Brown and the Cambrensis Welsh Choir. Jeffrey is a brilliant keyboard musician specialising in organ, piano and the modern keyboard. He also teaches voice production and is a choir director.

Rachel joins Jeff as a duo when she guests for the Festival Chorus and is an accomplished and proficient player of the Harp. Rachel plays in several orchestras as well as performing solo.

 

Robin Littler  (on the piano)

 

Robin Littler has had an association with Guernsey for many years and in particular with the Festival Chorus since 1985. Robin has been instrumental in enabling the Festival Chorus to participate in the 1,000 voice choir at the Royal Albert Hall, London. The Choir has also sung with 400 Welsh voices in St David's Hall, Cardiff . Robin is Musical Director of the London Emmanuel Choir.

Marilyn Baker

Marilyn Baker a talented vocalist, although blind, has not allowed this disability to get in the way of a  successful singing career. For several years she was top female recording artiste of Religious music in the UK..

 

Peter Jackson
Peter Jackson

A blind and talented solo pianist and composer of thought provoking spiritual music and songs. A humourist as well as a great communicator of the bible in word and in his own composition piano music. See his website Keynote Ministries for details of his many books, music cassettes and CDs and Videos. His books include the moving ones entitled 'One Day I'll See You' and 'Heaven in Sight' the first one written about his early life in blind institutions after losing his sight as a young child and the second about his ministries. David Martin

David is a favourite  of the Choir. For many years he was Assistant Music Director for the Continental Singers and toured with this American group and the English Continental Singers throughout many parts of the World. An examiner in pianoforte and a very skillful accompanist and soloist.
