| | |  | A Warm Welcome to the web site of the Island Churches Guernsey Festival Chorus - Guernsey's popular and award winning choir celebrating 23 years - trophy winner in the 2001 and 2003 Eisteddfod (Churches and Chapels Choir section with a 92% rating). We also received a nomination for the 2002 Guernsey Ambassador of the Year award - more details We are a Christian interdenominational based Choir with an evangelical approach. We celebrated our 21st anniversary in 2006 and participated in BBC Radio and Television programmes including the BBC Songs of Praise from Guernsey. | Here you will find all the information you will need about the Choir and the exciting programme of events we have put together for 2008 to mark our 23rd Anniversary. FUTURE EVENT 2008on 12th & Sat 13th December at 7.30pm at St James Concert HallFamily Carols Festival - an amazing two nights of Christian fun and festivity - carols, bells, party hats and seasonal music for everyone at St James with a special performance from the Childrens' choir Friendship Company. Two nights of exciting Christian songs and music depicting an accurate biblical story and account of the nativity. Join with angels celebrating Jesus' birth. Would you like to sing in a choir? more details | Do you belong to a local church and aged 15 - 50? Why not give it a 3-week no-obligation trial ? | We are always looking to recruit new members but particularly Basses and Altos. Take a look at the Join the Choir page for more details or call Roy Sarre on 263930. No experience or audition required - just a love of singing biblically based songs, hymns and psalms in all styles of music. All training and support is given. We meet on Monday evenings at St Martin's School at 7.30pm for rehearsals. New members are always welcome, so come along and find out what the choir is all about. |

| The new Millennium saw the launch of this site which went live on 19th June 2000 (see our News page) and we thank everyone for the interest shown so far.
